Roger Deacon (Peter Outerbridge) may be on his last legs in the music business, but he still recognizes star power -- especially when he meets Sunni (Kari Wuhrer), who dazzles him with her stage presence and sexy appearance. Unfortunately, Sunni can't sing, so Deacon recruits a talented housewife (Gail O'Grady) to lip-synch Sunni's album. But how long can they keep their secret from the news media and fans once the album becomes a hit?
