Haunted by the death of his fiancée, who perished in a Nazi concentration camp, Dutch policeman Peter (Stephen Boyd) helps smuggle Auschwitz death camp survivor Lisa (Dolores Hart) into Palestine. From Holland to London to Tangiers, the two are determined to evade authorities and do whatever is necessary to reach their destination. Director Philip Dunne's tense wartime drama earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Drama.
