Bad-boy wannabe John "Rugged" Rudgate (Aaron Stanford) fancies himself a criminal, yet his exploits amount to little more than counterfeiting rebate coupons. He soon teams with his dim friend (Paul Schneider) and his sister (Zooey Deschanel) to launch an ill-conceived heist in this droll indie comedy. Two small-town cops (Michael Rapaport and Kevin Dunn) and a goofy hardware store clerk (Judah Friedlander) complicate Rugged's already-doomed plan.
