When famine broke out in Africa in the mid-1980s, musician Bob Geldof, previously known only as the Boomtown Rats' front man, didn't want to watch hunger destroy the continent. So, he enlisted the help of his famous friends -- including Bono, Elvis Costello, David Bowie and Sting -- to stage an amazing concert to raise funds for the needy. This series features all the musical acts that came together that special day in 1985.
