In this controversial documentary that was summarily banned in its native Philippines, director Jose Javier Reyes offers an unblinking look at the lives of young men and women who struggle to survive in the slums of Manila by performing live sex acts in seedy nightclubs. Playing the part of an activist as well as that of a voyeur, Reyes explores the societal and economic forces that drive these lonely souls to their desperate professions.
