Depressed and fed up with his dead-end job, bus driver Martin (Carmelo Gómez) is about to commit suicide. But an enigmatic bystander (Fernando Valverde) comes up with a better idea: Martin should borrow a bundle from the Mafia, blow the dough and then off himself. The brilliant plan hits a snag, however, when a gorgeous waitress (Salma Hayek) enters the picture, and Martin decides he wants to live. How will he ever square things with the mob?
