Toro (Misha Gonzales) was virtually raised by Bronx's Latina street gangs. Growing up in this hostile environment, Toro has always needed personal connection, which she finds when single mother Michelle (Tania Galarza) moves into the neighborhood. Their friendship soon blossoms into something more, leading Toro into a new kind of battle with her fellow gang members. Joshua Nelson co-stars in this adaptation of his play Los Rosas Salvaje.
