When young Roselle (Belinda Montgomery) and Clarence (Tim Matheson) fall deeply in love, they elope to escape her father's disapproval. The couple's treacherous trip across the frontier soon becomes an exciting adventure as they flee Roselle's angry dad and brothers. Along the way, they fall in with an escaped prisoner (Claude Akins) and a counterfeit preacher (Burgess Meredith). Jack Albertson co-stars in this engaging Western.
