During a trip to Israel to attend his archaeologist father's funeral, acclaimed stage actor Gabor Romandy (Michael York) meets his father's young widow (Liv Ullmann), and soon, the pair finds themselves making an unlikely connection. Meanwhile, Gabor is approached by a filmmaker who'd like him to portray the elder Romandy in a biopic he's planning. Award-winning cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond makes his directorial debut with this stirring drama.
