Asian immigrant teen Paul (Joon B. Kim) finds life a struggle in his new country, every day a fight against the onslaught of drugs, gangs and poverty. As if that isn't enough, his family crumbles after his dad is paralyzed during a robbery and his mom abandons them to wed the father (Erik Estrada) of a bigoted schoolmate who hassles Paul incessantly. How will he find his way in such a tough world when he awakens each day enraged and frightened?
