Towering describes the special features on this disc that includes a whopping 11 featurettes -- among them, a tour of the set, "Return to Middle Earth," "Sounds of Middle Earth" and "Edoras & Rohan Culture." In addition, the "Gollum Song" by Emiliana Torrini is included, along with a making-of featurette. There's even a special treat -- a film, "The Long and the Short of It," directed by Sean Astin (who plays Samwise in the trilogy).
