Amelia Warner stars in the title role of Lorna Doone, the anointed "queen" of a once noble clan, in this epic television adaptation of Richard Blackmore's classic romance set in the wilds of 17th-century England. Years after seeing his father violently murdered at the hands of the Doone family, a vengeful young John Ridd (Richard Coyle) falls in love with a beautiful girl (Warner). Little does he know that she comes from enemy stock.
