Love Is Forever

Based on real events, this made-for-TV movie tells the story of journalist John Everingham (Michael Landon), who was stationed in Laos in 1977. Accused of being a spy, Everingham was tortured and expelled from the country. A year later, he returned to Laos to rescue his Laotian girlfriend (Moira Chen). His plan included swimming the Mekong River without attracting attention. Jurgen Prochnow and Priscilla Presley co-star.
