Ismael (Louis Garrel) and Julie (Ludivine Sagnier) become involved in a three-way relationship when they both fall for Alice (Clotilde Hesme), but the complicated emotional entanglements unravel after a tragedy. Trying to soothe his pain, Ismael drifts from one meaningless encounter to another, until he meets a young man who tries to help him overcome his loss.
