Three young women search for love in this adaptation of Nancy Mitford's popular novels The Pursuit of Love and Love in a Cold Climate. Spanning the 1930s, this BBC adaptation recounts the adventures of Linda (Elisabeth Dermot-Walsh), Fanny (Rosamund Pike) and Polly (Megan Dodds) as they search for potential mates. Linda goes to Europe and has a fateful encounter, Fanny strives to overcome her mother's fate, while Polly shocks her family with a disastrous surprise.
