Love on a Branch Line

Tired of his boring life as a civil servant, Jasper Pye (Michael Maloney) takes a business trip to a rural English town, where his humdrum world is turned pleasantly upside down by the lovable characters he meets. Although he's been sent to shut down a local research facility and fire every member of the staff, he's also been contemplating his own professional future. But his zeal for life is renewed by the townspeople's passion.
