Tzu Hsi (Chingamy Yau), a comely young concubine, is just one of many women in the court of Chinese Emperor Hseih Feng. But the beautiful Tzu Hsi has bigger plans for herself and uses her sexual influence and charm to her advantage, eventually becoming an empress. Still, the new royal won't be happy until she's the sole ruler of China. Wai Keung Lau directs this historical costume drama co-starring Tony Leung Ka Fai.
