She's smart, yet fails at school. A good athlete, but doesn't play any sports. She is Konata Izumi, a lazy teenager who attends high school with her trio of girlfriends in this anime based on Kagami Yoshimizu's comic strip manga. Following the lives of the four "Lucky Star" girls, the series centers on Konata, whose lack of effort stems from her singular obsession with video games and anime.
