Martine Carol plays the infamous Lucrèce Borgia in this historical tale of power, lust and betrayal. Her marriage arranged by her self-serving brother, César (Pedro Armendáriz), Lucrèce still finds happiness with her husband, Alphonse (Massimo Serato) -- until César wants him dead. But unlike Lucrèce's other lovers, Alphonse won't go down without a fight. Christian-Jaque directs this 1953 drama co-starring Christian Marquand.
