A stray orca inspires a First Nations community in British Columbia by reminding them of their identity as a people. Believing the whale carries the spirit of their late chief, the tribe fights the government's plan to relocate the orphaned animal. Inspired by a true story, this moving drama stars Adam Beach as Mike Maquinna, the tribe's new chief, and Jason Priestley as a government representative. Graham Greene and Tantoo Cardinal co-star.
