Simon Keenlyside, Nancy Gustafson and Richard Margison star in this performance of acclaimed composer-conductor Lorin Maazel's gripping opera, based on George Orwell's haunting masterpiece of the same name. Filmed at London's Royal Opera House in Covent Garden during the opera's world premiere, this Robert Lepage-directed production also features Lawrence Brownlee, Graeme Danby and the voice of Jeremy Irons.
