After spending a few months in jail, con man Jack MacShayne (Kenny Rogers) heads to Las Vegas hoping to reunite with his son, but he can't seem to track him down. Retired cop Danny Leggett (Terry O'Quinn) offers to help MacShayne find his boy if the ex-con helps him rob a casino and convince two others to sit in on the job. But when MacShayne discovers Leggett isn't wholly honest, he decides to shake things up.
