Macross

When humans recover an abandoned space vessel and turn it into a battleship they dub the Macross, they don't count on its dormant computer system reviving itself, firing on an alien fleet and touching off a war with the Zentradi race. Now, mankind must hope that the restored battleship can finish what it started. Anime buffs will recognize "Macross," which initially ran as a Japanese sci-fi series, as one of three elements in the Robotech epic.
