Lam Sai-Wing (Sammo Hung), a butcher and student of Wong Fei Hung (Tak-Hing Kwan), finds his life threatened by a rival school, the Five Dragons. The Dragons' master is convinced that Lam raped his goddaughter and murdered his son. From this grim premise comes one of Hong Kong's best comic martial arts flicks, with Hung (often cast as Jackie Chan's sidekick) at his peak. Director Yuen Woo Ping went on to design the stunts in the Matrix movies.
