After losing their home to foreclosure, devastated Barkley (Victor Moore) and his wife, Lucy (Beulah Bondi), must part ways because not one of their grown children has room for them both. As the elders try to fit in with their kids' families, they struggle with loneliness. Directed by Leo McCarey and based on a novel by Josephine Lawrence, this moving drama also stars Fay Bainter, Thomas Mitchell and Porter Hall.
