When roommates Malcolm McGee (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) and Eddie Sherman (Eddie Griffin) inherit some money, they decide to buy their building -- which includes an Irish pub and Eddie's tow truck garage. But impulsive Eddie often winds up getting responsible Malcolm in trouble. In the show's premiere season, Malcolm tries his hand at making a horror film, Eddie stumbles at the craps table and the guys try to best each other in a celibacy contest.
