Man of the West

Anthony Mann's thoughtful Western stars Gary Cooper as Link Jones, a former outlaw who finds himself stranded in the wilderness with a lovely singer (Julie London) and a gambler (Arthur O'Connell) and convinces them to take refuge with his old gang. But when ringleader Dock Tobin (Lee J. Cobb) forces him to rejoin the gang and rob a bank, Jones must find a way to keep his companions safe and once again break free of the bandit's clutches.
