After his father commits suicide, tormented Santiago (Jason Day) leaves the cold of Lima for the warmth of Mancora, a beach in northern Peru. But when his stepsister (Elsa Pataky) and her husband join him, what starts out as a simple vacation becomes much more complicated. As the three of them become emotionally entangled in one another's lives, they cross forbidden borders and must confront personal demons.
