One day, a New York community receives a mysterious gift: a series of $20 bills that rain down on them from above. Teresa (Hallee Hirsh), whom everyone in the neighborhood views as a saint, is certain it is an offering from God. When Teresa (later played by Ursula Burton) gets older, she finds her true calling as a nun and decides everyone from her old neighborhood should return the money.
