With help from his secretary, Peggy (Gail Fisher), and police contacts Lt. Malcolm (Ward Wood) and Lt. Tobias (Robert Reed), private detective Joe Mannix (Mike Connors) tackles tough cases involving kidnappers, conspiracies, corruption and killings. The second season of this crime drama features Mannix looking for a manuscript that could unlock a murder case, investigating a war hero's past, and fighting off a revenge-seeking veteran.
