Many Rivers to Cross

  (1955)
Forced at gunpoint to marry feisty pioneer Mary Stuart Cherne (Eleanor Parker), 18th-century trapper Bushrod Gentry (Robert Taylor) escapes the trap of matrimony by fleeing to the North Country -- but his new bride is hot on his trail. Throughout their journey, Bushrod and Mary take turns rescuing each other from the continual threat of Indians.
