A man from Simla breaks from family tradition to pursue a music career in Bombay, but once in the big city, he loses sight of his dreams in this dramatic musical starring Dev Anand, Nutan and K.N. Singh. Inspired by his girlfriend, the man goes against his father's wishes and moves to Bombay. But a seductive dancer distracts him from his true love, and he turns to alcohol when he discovers his beloved has married another man.
