Romance unexpectedly blossoms between a middle-aged single mother and an unassuming security guard in this disarming tale helmed by Robert Guediguian. Fiery Jeanette (Ariane Ascaride) is eking out a living as a supermarket cashier and trying to raise two children by herself -- until her temper gets her axed. When she meets lonely Marius (Gerard Meylan), they're drawn to each other, but their emotional baggage keeps them from making a commitment.
