At the turn of the new millennium, as anti-immigrant sentiment fueled by the events of Sept.11 sweeps through Australia, young Hal (Abe Forsythe) falls in love with Randa (Bojana Novakovic), an Afghan refugee. Their love becomes a lightning rod for racism in his small town, and brings Hal to a boiling point. Geoff Morrell and Abbie Cornish co-star in this gripping, timely spin on "Romeo and Juliet."
