This Emmy-winning drama from director Jud Taylor stars Kathleen Beller as Mary White, a vivacious teenager who takes up the same progressive social causes as her father, noted newspaperman William Allen White (Ed Flanders), until an accident cuts her life short. Celebrating the close bond between father and daughter, the inspiring drama is based on the renowned 1921 eulogy the Pulitzer Prize-winning elder White composed upon Mary's death.
