After wrapping a new film about Christ's life -- played by self-important star Tony (Matthew Modine) -- actress Marie Palesi (Juliette Binoche) is overcome by Mary Magdalene's spirit. When talk show host Ted (Forest Whitaker) screens the movie, he undergoes an epiphany that shakes him to his core. Abel Ferrara directs and co-writes this drama about the impact that Tony's film, "This is My Blood," has on all three people involved in it.
