After becoming a disciple of Prajna Tara, Indian prince Puti Tara (Tung-Shing Yee) decides to give up the throne, changes his name to Dharma and moves to China, where he works tirelessly to spread Buddha's philosophy. In addition to intensely meditating for nine years without food or water, Dharma gains incredible notoriety for bringing his knowledge of martial arts to the disciples of Shaolin.
