Murders at the revered Meadowbank School for Girls prompt a visit from Agatha Christie's Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot (David Suchet). The academy, which houses girls from fine families all over the world, has never dealt with a scandal like this. But as the sleuth shows, victims can have pedigrees, as can perpetrators. His friend, headmistress Miss Bulstrode (Harriet Walter), hopes he nabs the killer before her school is ruined.
