Hercule Poirot (David Suchet), Agatha Christie's famed Belgian detective, throws off a seemingly open-and-shut investigation when he arrives in a small town to look into the deaths of two women in this clever whodunit. The older victim's niece (Elisabeth Dermot-Walsh) is under suspicion in both cases, and Poirot finds plenty of reason to link her to the crimes. But as always, Poirot proves that there's more to everything than meets the eye.
