After photographer Peter Rooker is found dead in Soho, Scotland Yard detectives Thomas Lynley (Nathaniel Parker) and Barbara Havers's (Sharon Small) investigation leads them to a 1995 Bosnian massacre in this episode of the popular BBC series based on Elizabeth George's novels. But when Lynley asks his wife, Helen, for help in exploring the psychological aspects of the murders, a tragic series of events ensues.
