When their bus breaks down on a dark highway, feisty hipster Stacia (Fairuza Balk) and the other passengers find themselves caught in the middle of a ruthless battle between psychotic truck driver Wheeler (Michael Moriarty) and loony-tunes hitchhiker Walker (Warren Kole). While the other travelers become casualties in the turf war, Stacia won't give up so easy in this tense, gory thriller from veteran horror impresario Larry Cohen.
