Grouchy, high-priced lawyer Ben Matlock (Andy Griffith) continues to successfully defend a wide range of clients accused of murder, including a British ambassador, a radio DJ, a big city mayor, a legendary blues singer, and his neighbor, Les (Don Knotts). Throughout the third season of this legal drama, Matlock collaborates closely with his trusted private investigator, Tyler (Kene Holliday), who always turns up critical clues.
