An outrageous comedy from the Farrelly Brothers, the film centers around mild-mannered Charlie (Jim Carrey), a Rhode Island cop with split-personality disorder who escorts Irene (Renee Zellweger) back to her home town -- and loses his medication on the trip. Charlie and his hyper-aggressive alter-ego both fall in love with the confused Irene, and he wages war - with himself - for her affections while running from a group of corrupt officers.
