Set in a Brazilian backwater, this low-key comedy stars Regina Casé as spirited Darlene, who ends up in a casual ménage with three men -- all under the same roof -- after accepting an impromptu marriage proposal from her neighbor Osias (Lima Duarte). When it's clear that he just wants a live-in housekeeper, Darlene turns to other men … namely, his cousin (Stênio Garcia) and a young drifter (Luiz Carlos Vasconcelos) who move in with the couple.
