The second season of this drama means more of the same for medium Allison DuBois (Patricia Arquette), a suburban mom living in Phoenix who has a special gift to see what others can't. Balancing family life with a knack for solving mysteries isn't easy, but the rewards of helping others are worth it. Arquette's character is based on the real Allison DuBois, a bona fide medium and author of a best-selling book about her life.
