Mehbooba

Stranded in a countryside retreat by a storm, singer Suraj (Rajesh Khanna) is overwhelmed by déjà vu. He soon discovers that in a past life he was the court musician at a palace, where he tragically fell in love with Ratna (Hema Malini), a courtesan to the king. Ratna also returns to the palace in this lifetime to reunite with Suraj, but personal and political intrigue threaten to separate the lovers once again. Shakti Samanta directs.
