Diagnosed at age 49 with early-onset Alzheimer's disease, successful advertising executive Masayuki Saeki (Ken Watanabe) sees his near-perfect world turn upside down as he and his wife (Kanako Higuchi) reel from the unexpected blow. Although the family struggles to maintain life as they knew it, Masayuki's increasing confusion and memory loss soon change everything in this two-hankie tearjerker directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi.
