When he's not busy keeping his widower father, Janaradhan Wishvanbhar Rane (Paresh Rawal), out of trouble with his prankster best friend, Gaurav (Akshaye Khanna) works tirelessly in his pursuit to arrange his father's marriage. Helping out Gaurav is his old college pal Sheekha (Genelia D'Souza), who slowly develops an attraction to Gaurav. Veteran Indian screen star Om Puri co-stars as Janaradhan's troublemaking buddy.
