A little girl (Jodelle Ferland) comes to terms with the death of her father by sending him a note tied to a heaven-bound balloon. The events that transpire when the balloon's finder contacts the child form the basis of this touching family drama. Based on a true story, the movie received Daytime Emmy nominations for Best Actress (Ellen Burstyn), Supporting Actress (Ferland) and Director (Peter Masterson).
