Elizabeth Hurley stars as Rebecca Fairbanks, an out-of-work actress who's eager to sink her teeth into a meaty role. But when she gets a chance to play Belle Gunness, a 19th-century serial killer, she becomes a little too immersed in her character. Between dealing with her pushy stage mother (Carmen du Sautoy) and starring opposite her ex-lover (Jeremy Sisto), Rebecca's sanity begins to fray -- and the consequences could be deadly.
